A CEO leading an ambitious change agenda including new branding, culture change, new team structures, and new technology. It was change on a scale they’d not seen before and it was daunting. Having initially consulted with the company on setting up and delivering key projects, I was asked by the CEO to be his coach to support him in driving the change.
Through regular sessions I helped him shape and test his ideas and formulate plans. I challenged him on things that others wouldn’t, gave feedback on behaviours that weren’t working and occasionally provided advice as a mentor.
With expertise from his team and a handful of experienced consultants he has been able to deliver a number of key technical projects, a new brand and a revamped commercial organisation.
As always, there’s still more to do! Through the coaching he has been able to navigate the complexities and delays resulting from Brexit, an acquisition and, more recently, a global pandemic.
I don’t have a problem with you being a pain in the ass… you help me structure my thoughts, my process etc., so I’m clear.
It helps me to take a step back and put things into perspective.
